“McDonald’s Sets Its Sights on 9,000 Restaurants and 100 Million Loyal Customers By 2027

“McDonald’s Sets Its Sights on 9,000 Restaurants and 100 Million Loyal Customers By 2027

McDonald’s is the world’s leading quick service restaurant chain and recently announced its ambitious plans for 2030. The restaurant aims to open nearly 9000 restaurants worldwide and add an additional 100 million loyalty members by that time. McDonald’s currently has over 37,000 restaurants in over 120 countries and is continuing to expand rapidly to become a global leader in the fast food market. By 2027, McDonald’s is hoping to open 8,900 new restaurants around the world to take their total number of restaurants to almost 46,000. The restaurant also plans to grow its customer loyalty base from 97 million to 197 million people by 2027 which is an impressive increase of 100 million people. The company also puts emphasis on rapid promotions of their seasonal products and McDelivery. McDonald’s requires strong people management skills to execute its expansion plan so it’s encouraging franchise owner to introduce an immersive training program which will help them upskill staff and ensure operational efficiency. McDonald’s has been augmenting its loyalty program and making it more attractive to customers. As a part of the expansion plan, McDonald’s introduced new loyalty programs like the ”McDonald’s Family” and ”My McD’s” app. These programs have been designed to upscale technology-focused features for convenience and delivery and also allow customers to easily find out about local deals and offers. The expansion is not just limited to physical sites, but the digital presence will be improved too. To reach the 200 million target for loyal customers, the company plans to invest heavily in digital growth marketing strategies for both their physical and online restaurants. It is an ambitious plan but the success of McDonald’s growth strategies will help the restaurant to strengthen its position in the global market and continue its legacy of providing quality products and services to its customers.
